Sorry about the slow update.  I have had some trouble finding an appropriate hosting company for this site. So far Tripod, works for what I need. So I am giving their system a chance to prove it self. We are now back online. I hope not too many of you were inconvenienced by the delay, and inaccessible content over the past week.

Over the last few weeks I realized that uni stars back on the 26th, which is way too close for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I want to go back to uni, but primarily for something to do cause I have been so lazy over the past few months. The only thing that seems to had grasped my attention was this web site. And too many of my more active friends it may appear that I have an unhealthy complex relating to my web site. I am trying to break my connection to this web site so I can at least appear normal to my friends when I go back. I am going to try from now ... Goodbye. Wish me luck, I am unsure as to how long this will last, but I will get back to you with my progress.

Well, it is probably about time I let you guys in to what has been happening in my life lately. I apologize for the time delay between this entry and my last, but as I will explain a lot of stuff has had a slightly higher priority, than this update.

Firstly on the 19 of January, my grandmother, whom I dearly love, was followed into her home, by a man, who after making idle chit chat, about the troubles of his life, attempted to rape my grandmother.  During the attack her threw her to the ground and grabbed her throat in an attempt to assist him throw her to the ground before he proceeded to assault her. A 75 year old woman, who was simply minding her own business, being the friendly person that she is, she may not have seen him in her home as a threat, until that was when he asked her to show him to the bathroom, claiming he couldn't see due to 'brain tumors' he has. It was at this point that she was thrown to the floor in the adjoining bedroom, and assaulted, by this offender.

It has taken over three weeks for most of the bruising to go down, around her right eye, where she was punched during the attack. But the outside appears to be back to normal, but I am worried about the mental and psychological implications of the attack. At 75, you would think you were able to simply get on with your business and not be the target of criminals. But I guess in this case it was not so.

This event has disjointed all family activities, particularly over the few days after the attack. At this time, my auntie decided that it was a good idea that gran didn't go back to her home alone like she wanted to, so my auntie stayed over the night. I don't see the benefit of the stay, to my grandmother. She just wanted to get 'back on the horse' and not let this incident take over her life. My auntie stayed over, possibly in an attempt to ease her own mind. Not very much though, as if something was to happen she had admitted after the stay, that she may not have been able to do anything to protect either of them anyway.

Well, the guy was caught later that evening, and has been charged with the following offenses
attempted rape
assault with intent to rape
aggravated burglary
intent to cause injury
attempt to commit an indictable offense

The court proceeding have begun, and this offender has asked for bail, so he will be spending at least the next three months in remand.

I think that is all at the moment, I will get back to all soon, promise this time
